FABIAN HURZELER OUT TONIGHT- BRIGHTON FANS RAGE AFTER NOTTINGHAM FOREST LOSS

Brighton fans took to social media to call out Fabian Hurzeler after the team suffered a humiliating 7-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.

The Seagulls were completely outclassed by Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, with Chris Wood stealing the show by scoring a hat-trick just days after signing a new contract.

Other goalscorers included Morgan Gibbs-White, Neco Williams, and Jota Silva.

Following the defeat, Hurzeler’s side now sit 10th in the league but have won just two of their last 10 league matches. Fans have voiced their frustrations with the manager after the heavy loss.

Brighton fans turn on Fabian Hurzeler after Forest humiliation

Hurzeler took charge of Brighton last summer following Roberto De Zerbi’s departure to Marseille, but his tenure has quickly come under scrutiny.

The German coach has faced his fair share of challenges, with fans recently expressing frustration over the club’s reported plans to sell Evan Ferguson permanently.

Despite limited game time this season—just 11 appearances—supporters remain behind the young striker. A move to West Ham has been rumoured, potentially reuniting him with the manager who brought him to Brighton, Graham Potter.

However, Hurzeler himself has drawn increasing criticism due to the team’s poor form. While the team has produced strong performances against Manchester United and Arsenal, they’ve also stumbled with disappointing draws against relegation-threatened Leicester City and Southampton

The humiliating 7-0 defeat to Forest appears to be the final straw for many fans, with calls for him to be sacked intensifying.

One fan wrote that he should be gone “tonight” while another pleaded, “I want De Zerbi back.” Others labeled his tenure an “utter failure” and urged the club to “cut our losses” before it’s too late.
