It has been over a year since Ange Postecoglou left Celtic.
Celtic supporters were gutted to see the 59-year-old leave, but understood the situation given that it was the billion-pound machine Premier League calling.
Just like Postecoglou did via the Parkhead dugout, he has entertained the masses as the Tottenham manager and he is proving to be the talk of the town whenever his team plays.
From Spurs outclassing and thrashing Manchester City 4-0 at the Etihad to letting a 2-0 lead slip and losing 4-3 at home to Chelsea.
It’s all happening and one constant topic is discussed by the English media and that’s Postecoglou’s style of play.
Many, whether they represent Tottenham or not, have asked him to change, but to the Celtic hero’s credit, he isn’t budging and continues to believe in his ways.
Ange Postecoglou’s time at Celtic compared to Tottenham struggles
When Ange took charge of Celtic, the club was on the floor after the disastrous spell of Neil Lennon, but he picked it up in no time and the trophies rolled in, including winning the Treble before heading for the exit door.

But some people need to see sense when they continually berate the Scottish League and how it is seemingly ‘easy’ for someone like Celtic to be as dominant as they are.
Alan Pardew tried to do that, even though his co-host, who is a Tottenham fan, slammed the ‘ridiculous’ claim that anyone could win the Premiership title, as he told talkSPORT.

“I really wanted to get behind the guy. I have got behind him. I always liked to root for a bit of an underdog as well. He has come into the Premier League, of course, coming from the Scottish League. I have actually had Scottish fans message me saying how respectful I have been to the Scottish league. You know when people say, ‘oh, I could win a league in Scotland’. It’s just ridiculous. You have got to respect Ange’s achievements. Yes, it’s a different game completely in the Premier League, but I wanted to back him.”
Pardew then interrupted: “Just going back to Celtic a little bit. Financially and everything else, they are way above anyone else. Brendan has just brought the League Cup home again and how many trophies has he won in his time there?! I am not saying it was a gimme. Nothing is a gimme in football. But you have got a big advantage there and you can dominate games. This is the problem with the way Ange plays. He likes to dominate games. But, at the moment, he hasn’t got a starting XI that can dominate a game, therefore, he is in trouble.”
Celtic fans will love Postecoglou’s fight
Postecoglou doesn’t get enough credit, but he did finish fifth last season after losing star striker and the club’s greatest player Harry Kane to Bayern Munich in August.
This season, his whole backline has been decimated by injury, but they are still going strong in the Europa League and are in the semi-final of the League Cup.
Ange has won a trophy everywhere he has been and despite the negative noise from the English media, the Celtic fans will love his fight, as he told his post-match press conference after his side’s 2-2 draw against Wolves.
“Of course, it hurts,” said Postecoglou. “It hurts immensely. But, at the same time, it’s my responsibility for where we are at right now and it’s my responsibility to get us out of it.
