THE PERFECT REPLACEMENT FOR HOJBJERG AT TOTTENHAM MAY HAVE JUST EMERGED, HE WOULD COST £35M

Tottenham Hotspur are set to enter the UEFA Europa League next season after a fifth-place finish in the Premier League and decision-makers are expected to keep an eye on the Europa League winners.
The first season under Australian Ange Postecoglou went as well as expected, but the north London club missed out on the Champions League, as Unai Emery’s Aston Villa claimed fourth place in the senior competition elite club in Europe.
As the club attempts to return to Europe’s top club competition, Tottenham Hotspur may want to look at newcomers to the competition, Italian side Atalanta.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s side beat Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen to a comfortable win thanks to Ademola Lookman’s brilliant hat-trick.
Despite the Englishman’s excellent performance, there is another player on the pitch for the Serie A side that Spurs should keep an eye on.
Hojbjerg’s replacement found A replacement for midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has clearly been sought after by Spurs for a long time.
HITC reported a few weeks ago that Nottingham Forest midfielder Danilo was attracting interest from Tottenham as a potential replacement for the Dane.
However, if Spurs’ key voices were watching the Europa League final, which took place in Dublin, they may have spotted their ideal signing in midfield.
As a midfielder for Atalanta, Ederson is one of the unsung heroes of the Italian team, he is absolutely everywhere on the field and does not allow Leverkusen to sniffle.
The Brazilian completed 72% of his passes, won 60% of his duels on the ground and 100% of his duels in the air.
He did not allow the Leverkusen midfielder, who had achieved a lot of success in the Bundesliga, to settle down.
A more likely replacement for Hojbjerg should Spurs choose to let the Dane leave.
HITC reported in April that Spurs, along with Manchester United, Newcastle United and Liverpool, were expressing an interest in the Brazilian midfielder, along with Dutchman Teun Koopemeiners.
Ederson will not be the first Serie A player to move to Tottenham.
Spurs’ past success in Serie A The two clearest cases of Spurs’ previous success with Serie A signings are former Atalanta defender Cristian Romero and Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski.
Since signing the duo, they have become key cogs in the Tottenham machine and should Spurs choose to replace Danish midfielder Hojbjerg, who has served them so well over the years , do so when they first buy in Italy, this will be migration.
HITC also previously reported that Ederson could be sold for as little as £35m this summer.
A move to Tottenham seemed obvious and a good deal.
