West Ham fans furious at one player’s performance after Burnley draw

West Ham fans on social media are furious at the performance of one player after their draw against Burnley.

On Sunday, danny ing netted a late equaliser against his former side to salvage a point for West Ham.

David Datro Fofana scored a thunderbolt to reward the Clarets’ enterprising start in east London, while Konstantinos Mavropanos’ own goal capped off a woeful first half from the hammer.

However, Lucas Paqueta’s composed finish halved the deficit in the second half, while Ings thought he’d netted the equaliser in the 86th minute, only for his goal to be disallowed for an offside in the build-up.

Five minutes later, however, Ings found himself on the scoresheet to deny Burnley their first win since December 23.
Despite claiming a point, West Ham fans were furious at jwp for a lacklustre display.

One person said: “jwp is a genuine disgrace of a footballer. What does he offer especially in that role?”

Another replied: “But if we didn’t have JWP who would pass the ball back to Aguerd in his own half so he could roll it square to Mavropanos?”

A third said: “Unless we’re getting 15 corners a game he offers nothing. Yet another player who has woefully regressed under Moyes’ “coaching”. He’s never been this bad in his career. Until Moyes has him for 6 months.”
Ward-Prowse was ultimately taken off at half-time at the London Stadium.

The result sees West Ham stay seventh in the table, four points behind manchester united

Meanwhile, Burnley move off the foot of the table, above Sheffield Wednesday into 19th. Yet, they are still ten points adrift of safety with ten games remaining.
