Heung-min Son admits he regrets how he acted when taken off vs Fulham
Son Heung-min has said that while he was frustrated to be substituted against Fulham, he was pleased to see young Alejo Veliz get an opportunity upfront and should have been more supportive.

Despite his role as club captain, Son has often been replaced by Ange Postecoglou in the final stages of games so far this season
Some might think it was because the striker wasn’t 100 per cent fit, but the Spurs manager revealed last week that he makes decisions based on what it takes to win games
, added that he intends to continue as South Korea national team coach if he feels it is best for the team (Football, London)
Son was on the scoresheet again against Fulham on Monday, scoring his seventh goal of the Premier League season with a well-placed shot into the top corner
His son regrets getting irritated during the shift
The 31-year-old was sent off for Postecoglou in the 82nd minute and admitted he wanted the game to end but was happy to see Bellis play a few minutes
Son said of his play at Spurs after his 2-0 win at the Cottages: “But I think when you see that player go out, it should be a really happy moment because when you see that player go out, it’s a young lad who’s been training hard
“You deserve to play
Now that I think about it, I feel a little regretful that I should have cheered for them more
“But I think they did a great job today as well, keeping a clean sheet
I’m really happy to see the young boys playing in the stadium
