Ange Postecoglou says ‘majestic’ Tottenham player will be back in action v Brighton

Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Spurs captain Son Heung-min is “definitely” ready to start on Saturday.

The Tottenham boss, speaking to football.london on Friday, also said Yves Bissouma is good to go following his return from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Son is back at Spurs after returning from the Asian Cup following South Korea’s semi-final elimination at the hands of Jordan on Tuesday.

The 31-year-old, who led his nation in every minute of the competition which included two knockouts that went to extra-time, reported back at Hotspur Way on Thursday.

When players return from international duty straight into the thick of club action, it’s never certain whether they’ll play right away or maybe get a bit more rest.
