Heung-min Son says he is delighted with how three Spurs teammates have taken responsibility
Son Heung-min has praised Richarlison for stepping up to the plate and delivering the goals when he was away at the Asian Cup with South Korea.

Before Son jetted away to Qatar, he challenged Richarlison to rise to the occasion and make a difference in the final third, explaining that he had felt a similar responsibility when Harry Kane had been injured in the past (Hayters TV).

The 31-year-old showed his importance to the side on Saturday, coming off the bench to provide a world-class assist in stoppage time, helping Tottenham pick up a crucial three points.

Son was asked about the teammates’ performances when he was away over the last month and he told NBC Sports: “The most important thing is you take responsibility, which Richy does, and Kulu does and Brennan does.

“I think everybody was doing a good job and especially Richy, he was doing a fantastic job while I was away. I think we have some quality players but we still have to work on it to make it easier to win the game and make more impact.”

Since being offered the captaincy, we have seen a different side to Son, with the South Korean being quite demanding of his teammates on the pitch and challenging them to showcase their best.
