‘Can I put him 11?’ – Neal Maupay brutally mocks former Premier League star in blind ranking challenge

Neal Maupay aimed a ruthless dig at a former Premier League star when he took on the blind ranking challenge.

Maupay has made headlines for all the wrong reasons in recent weeks following clashes with James Maddison and Kyle Walker.

He imitated Maddison’s darts celebration during Brentford’s defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, prompting a savage response from the Spurs star after the result.

A professional lip reader revealed what the Man City defender claimed Maupay said to him to spark their on-field exchange.

The Brentford forward has continued to mock his fellow professionals, having brutally taunted a former Arsenal player in a new video.

Michael Owen was the first player to be drawn, with Maupay ranking him ninth.

When Deco came out, he said: “Oh, I quite like Deco,” before putting him in eighth place.

Victor Osimhen, Angel Di Maria, Wesley Sneijder, Franz Beckenbauer and Adriano were ranked tenth, seventh, sixth, fifth and fourth respectively.

But Maupay didn’t rate the Gabonese, saying: “Oh my God, can I put him 11th? No, I can’t. No hard feelings.”

Aubameyang was reluctantly slotted in third place, with Erling Haaland taking top spot ahead of Andres Iniesta, who came out last.

Aubameyang is now at Marseille and has 14 goals in all competitions to his name this season.

Maupay, meanwhile, has found his shooting boots, having scored three goals in his last three league games.
He scored in his team’s victory over Nottingham Forest and bagged against Spurs and Man City,
