“I can’t hold it anymore…fans don’t respect me”The 26-years old player has reveal his FINAL DECISION of leaving Tottenham in January

Napoli are seeking talks with Tottenham for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

The Azzurri want to take the Dane on-loan in January with an option to buy.

Hojbjerg has been linked with Juventus for much of the season. But now Il Corriere dello Sport says Napoli have entered the tug of war for the 28-year-old’s signature.

Napoli want Hojbjerg even if they manage to land Lazar Samardzic, 21, from Udinese.

Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri wants to bring in two midfielders this winter because André-Frank Zambo Anguissa is expected to leave for AFCON in January.

In addition, it is likely that Diego Demme and Gianluca Gaetano will be loaned out next month

Tottenham are willing to let Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg leave next month and Juventus are ready to pounce for the Danish midfielder.

The 28-year-old had been a key figure in North London since his arrival from Southampton in August 2020, but has fell down the pecking order this term under coach Ange Postecoglou, mostly coming off the bench as a rotation option.

Juventus and Napoli have both been keeping a close eye on Hojbjerg ahead of the January transfer window and Tottenham are open to letting him leave on loan, but want an obligation to buy clause attached to the deal.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has identified Hojbjerg as his top option to bolster the midfield next month, ahead of Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips, and talks with Tottenham are expected to progress in the coming days.

Napoli are unconvinced about the idea of an obligation to buy clause, but the Old Lady haven’t lost their interest and will now try to find an agreement with their Spurs counterparts.
Hojbjerg is happy to make the move to Serie A, wanting to play regular football ahead of next summer’s European Championship.
