I’m very disappointed.. Gary Neville “blast” Tottenham star who save spur against Newcastle as he consider him as annoying player and waste of money

Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison has been described as a hard-working and “annoying” player by Perry Groves.

Groves, speaking on talkSPORT Premier League All Access, reiterated his prior comments suggesting that the Spurs man suits the way Ange Postecoglou wants to play.

Richarlison appears to have turned a corner following surgery on a long-term pelvic injury last month.

The 26-year-old scored twice for Tottenham in their 4-1 Premier League win over Newcastle United last time out.

Prior to the surgery, Richarlison had been struggling, but now he’s looking like he’s getting back to his best.

And Groves, speaking on talkSPORT, had kind words to say about the Spurs striker.

“I said at the beginning of the season,” he began

“I thought Richarlison would suit the way that Postecoglou wants to play, because he wants to play the high energy, attacking football.

“And if there is one thing that Richarlison does do, he does give you effort and application, he is one of those annoying players who closes down.”

Richarlison back to his best for Tottenham

It’s great to see Richarlison getting back to his best. After all the criticism he received, it just goes to show that you don’t always know what’s going on with a player behind the scenes, and that it’s not just a case of them becoming bad all of a sudden.

Richarlison is a good player. The £175,000-a-week (Salarysport) star was superb at both Watford and Everton, hence Spurs paying big money for him. He has also played and scored for Brazil at the World Cup.

The issue Richarlison had left him unwilling to shoot towards goal because of the pain it caused him. Luckily that’s now in the past and the Brazil international is now feeling much better. This is reflected in his improved performances.

It’ll be exciting to see how Richarlison continues to fare now he’s free from that annoying injury. Hopefully he can continue getting hatfuls of goals for Spurs.
