There’s a fascinating London derby taking place in a couple of days time, with Spurs hosting Chelsea in the Premier League.

Ange Postecoglou’s in-form Spurs team went into the weekend top of the league pile, so they’ll be aiming to return to the summit with a win on Monday evening.

As for Chelsea, they continue to slide down the division because of their poor run of results. Blues head coach Mauricio Pochettino may have some extra fuel as he returns to his former club, too.

TalkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara, who’s a Spurs fan, is fairly confident that it’ll be a home win on Monday night at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

O’Hara told talkSPORT: “I’m very confident going into this one. I’m so confident of a result. I reckon 3-1. We’re going to destroy you.”

Chelsea vs Tottenham head to head

Chelsea took just one point from their two meetings with Spurs last season. However, they were on a five-game winning streak across all competitions against their rivals before that.

The Blues have dominated this rivalry for most of the 21st century, but it’s Spurs with all the momentum right now.

Both clubs started the campaigns with new individuals in the manager’s dugout, so it’s interesting to see the trajectory of both during the opening 10 games of the campaign.

There’s no denying that Postecoglou’s style has been imprinted on this Spurs XI from day one. They play expansive and attractive football.

For Pochettino, his Chelsea side are beginning to dominate games and produce some nice patterns of play. They simply need to find some more goals from somewhere, though.
