Postecoglou told the club’s official Xchannel when asked about Udogie: “Yeah, we’ll see how he progresses obviously, we’ve got a few days before the Monday game. He’s progressing through it and we will assess it closer to it.
“Everyone else is okay, Ben Davies has a bit of a knock and he hasn’t trained with the team yet so it is unlikely for Monday, but again there’s still a couple of days to go.”
Ange Postecoglou has provided a team news update ahead of Monday’s match against Chelsea during this afternoon’s press conference at Hotspur Way.
The match will see former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time since taking charge of Chelsea in what will certainly be an interesting situation to see what reception the Argentine receives from the North London faithful.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of the clash against Pochettino’s side.
Chelsea head into the match on the back of a 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers in the Carabao Cup, while a victory for Spurs would see them open up a massive 17 point gap over their rivals at the top of the Premier League table.
