James Maddison now react with two-word message after hearing news coming out yesterday

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder James Maddison has now been fulfilling the inevitable task of praising Jude Bellingham after another Real Madrid goal.

Bellingham was once again on target for the La Liga side as they beat SC Braga 2-1 in Portugal last night.

The England international scored the second, and Maddison was quick to return the praise that received for his Tottenham performance on Monday.

Following his goal last night, Bellingham shared a post on Instagram with the caption: “Our UCL run continues, good graft from the team.”

To which, Maddison simply replied: “Regular occurrence” – something that represents the thoughts of many.

Tottenham's Maddison celebrates another Bellingham goal

And although Maddison could be considered the signing of the season for Tottenham in the Premier League, it’s hard to compete with Bellingham, especially after another winning goal.

Of course this does all bode very well for Gareth Southgate and England.

Particularly when you consider that it’s Arsenal’s £105m move for Declan Rice that is arguably competing with the two.

Tottenham’s Maddison wasn’t surprised to see Bellingham score another goal

As well as Maddison’s praise for an England teammate, there’s also been some love shared between Ange Postecoglou’s squad.

Pedro Porro declared yesterday that he thought Cristiano Romero was the best player in the world following his display against Fulham.

But perhaps his Tottenham teammate James Maddison might interject given Bellingham’s latest Champions League goal.

Nonetheless, it does bode very well that there’s this positive feeling among Postecoglou’s Tottenham squad right now.

And with a tough trip to Crystal Palace on the horizon for Friday, the squad will need to lean on their togetherness.

Moreover, Son Heung-Min will likely be crucial to any result as well, and fans will be hoping his persistent groin issue is still being managed well.

Of course, Tottenham fans will also be hoping that Destiny Udogie is fine to keep his spot.
