“Confirmed”After missing all of this season spur manager has declared to start the 22-years-old boy already at training ground now

Tottenham Hotspur are doing extremely well at the moment, but one player who is not getting much joy at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is Bryan Gil.

Bryan Gil has become a peripheral figure at Tottenham Hotspur.
Gil has not made a single appearance in the Premier League so far this season.

There is even speculation that Tottenham will try to get rid of the 22-year-old winger in the January transfer window.

Gil joined Spurs from Sevilla in the summer of 2021 for £21.6 million (Sky Sports).

The winger has been on loan at Valencia and Sevilla in recent seasons.

The Spain international has made 13 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career, giving one assist in the process.

Ange Postecoglou on Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil

Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou, though, has suggested that Gil will get chances soon and has told him to be ready.

Football.London quotes Postecoglou as saying about Gil: “He can be really important for us.

“He’s one like I said the last couple of weeks it has been great to have him just working really hard at training.

“He’s missed all of this season so far and it’s well chronicled that we lost Ivan and Manor who play in that left-wing position. Having Bryan fit and available again is great for us.

“He’s, I guess, in the same boat as everyone else because at some point he’ll be forwarded an opportunity and then it’s up to him.

“He certainly has all the criteria and credentials to play in that position for us and, like I said, his training is getting stronger now, he’s part of the group and I’m sure he’ll get an opportunity.

“We’ve got a Monday night game and then we back it up with a Friday night game, so we’ll probably need a good deal of the squad to do those two games in the next five or six days.”

My View: Bryan Gil should be ready

I believe Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil should be ready to take his chance when given to him.

Spurs are doing well now, and Gil will have to work extremely hard to get into the team.

But, you just never know.

There could be injury problems and suspension issues.

What Gil needs to do is continue to work hard in training and wait for his chance.

And, if and when he does it, Gil has to make the most of it.

Tottenham are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 20 points from eight matches.

Spurs are level on points with North London rivals Arsenal, who are second.
