“This shouldn’t happen”With the injury he’s facing on international duty he will not be able to return before Fulham clash

Last Friday, Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min was an unused substitute in South Korea’s 4-0 friendly win over Tunisia.

Earlier today, South Korea manager Jürgen Klinsmann revealed that the Tottenham player will be assessed for the friendly clash against Vietnam on Tuesday and his quotes are relayed by Yonhap News Agency.

Hwang In-beom also missed the Taegeuk Warriors’ victory over Tunisia and when asked about the Red Star Belgrade player and Son, Klinsmann said: “We have to check their physical condition at the end during training today, and it is still a question mark, and we will decide after judging how much they can play.”

The national team manager has also insisted on the need for the group to stay together even if the players aren’t fully fit.

Prior to the clash against Tunisia, Son said that his condition was ‘improving’. It needs to be seen if he’ll feature for his country against Vietnam tomorrow after the German’s latest comments.

After the international break, Tottenham will host Fulham on October 23rd and Ange Postecoglou will be hoping that the South Korean will be fit for the next league clash.
