“Sarcastic comment” finally James Maddison use irony word to mock jurgen klopp as he fume at crazy decisions

Tottenham midfielder James Maddison believes that both of Liverpool’s red cards were justified. Curtis Jones was given his marching orders at the half-hour mark before referee Simon Hooper brandished a second yellow card for Diego Jota just minutes after receiving his first.

“Jota’s definitely was [a red],” Maddison told Sky Sports, as quoted by The BBC. “The Curtis Jones one early on got shown on the big screen I think was a red card as well. I’m not sure Jurgen will complain too much about those too.”

Jurgen Klopp will now be without Jones and Jota for Liverpool’s trip to the Amex Stadium next weekend, while Cody Gakpo remains a doubt for the Brighton game due to injury. After the game, the Reds boss aimed a sly dig at Ange Postecoglou, claiming that his side are not a ‘kicking team’.
