GOOD NEWS!!!.. After various scouting Spurs Sporting Director has persuaded Levy to sign 23year old striker, player was considered better than Halaand, perfect Kane replacement

It has been revealed that former Tottenham Hotspur sporting director Fabio Paratici recommended the signing of Dusan Vlahovic to Daniel Levy.

Of course, the Serb ended up joining Juventus and as Harry Kane ended up staying, Spurs did not feel the need to sign a No.9.

However, ex-Tottenham Hotspur director of football Fabio Paratici was insistent on the arrival of Dusan Vlahovic and tried to persuade Daniel Levy to sanction his acquisition.

Paratici told Levy about signing Vlahovic

Since joining Juventus, the 23-year-old’s stock has dropped, as he has only scored 10 goals in Serie A this season, which is unimpressive for a striker of his calibre.

However, Vlahovic cannot be expected to be a hitman, like he was at Fiorentina in a Maximiliano Allegri side that is extremely defensively-minded.

Regardless, Serbian FA president Nenad Bjekovic said via GOAL that he is ‘more complete and better than [Erling] Haaland.”

Whether that is true or false is a conversation for another day but the Telegraph have reported that Fabio Paratici indeed had recommended the signing of Dusan Vlahovic to Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

The Italian director was keen on Vlahovic’s signature when he was at Fiorentina, where he was undoubtedly one of Europe’s hottest commodities.

HITC View: Vlahovic would have replaced Kane perfectly at Tottenham

Daniel Levy should perhaps have agreed with Fabio Paratici and sanctioned the arrival of Dusan Vlahovic at Tottenham, as he would have succeeded Harry Kane adeptly.

Much like the 29-year-old, Vlahovic is an expert at bringing others into play, has shown a comfortability in deeper areas and his hold-up play is top class.

Considering Spurs in particular would have needed a striker that was much more than a poacher, an outlet or a fox-in-the-box, the move would have made sense.

If Kane does leave Tottenham in the summer, Levy knows what to do next.
