In a bombshell interview that has sent shockwaves through the Premier League, sacked Nottingham Forest boss Sean Dyche has unleashed a ferocious tirade against owner Evangelos Marinakis – and savagely named three players he branded the “most useless” in his squad.

Speaking just 24 hours after his brutal dismissal on Wednesday night, the 54-year-old Dyche held nothing back in what insiders are calling the most explosive post-sacking rant in years.

The no-nonsense Geordie, who lasted a mere 114 days at the City Ground, accused the Greek shipping magnate of “meddling from the boardroom” and treating managers like “disposable tissues.”

“Evangelos Marinakis talks a big game about building a club, but all he’s built is a graveyard of managers,” Dyche fumed in the wide-ranging sit-down with a national newspaper. “Three bosses gone this season already? That’s not ambition, that’s panic.

He wants instant success without giving anyone the tools or the time. I walked in there with a plan to grind out results, to make us hard to beat. But every time I turned around, there was another directive from upstairs. It’s impossible to work like that.”

Forest’s form had nosedived dramatically under Dyche, with just one win in their last five games culminating in a grim 0-0 draw against rock-bottom Wolves on Wednesday.

Marinakis, watching from the stands, reportedly stormed out midway through the second half and summoned a crisis meeting that ended with Dyche’s P45 just three hours later.

But it was Dyche’s brutal assessment of his own players that will have tongues wagging the loudest. In a moment of pure ruthlessness, the former Everton and Burnley chief singled out three members of the squad by name as the “most useless” he’d ever managed.

“Taiwo Awoniyi? Talented on paper, but he’s been a ghost. Disappears for games at a time, no leadership, no fight. Neco Williams? Quick, sure, but zero end product and defends like a Sunday league full-back. And don’t get me started on Moussa Niakhate – the lad’s got the physical tools, but mentally? Absent.

These three have been the biggest passengers I’ve ever seen in a dressing room. Most useless trio I’ve come across in 20 years. If the owner wants to know why we’re sinking, he should look at the wage bill and ask why we’re carrying dead wood like that.”

Sources close to the club claim Dyche’s comments come amid growing unrest in the dressing room, with senior players reportedly voicing concerns over his old-school training methods to Marinakis directly. But Dyche insists the buck stops with the owner.

“I took this job to save a club, not to be a puppet. Marinakis has got more money than sense and less patience than a toddler. He’s turned the City Ground into a revolving door. Good luck to the next poor sod – they’ll need it.”

Forest fans, already reeling from a chaotic campaign that has seen them hover dangerously close to the relegation zone, were divided on social media. Some praised Dyche for “speaking the truth,” while others accused him of bitterness and shifting blame.

As for Marinakis, the notoriously trigger-happy owner is said to be lining up Vitor Pereira as his fourth permanent manager of the season. At this rate, the only thing certain at Nottingham Forest is more chaos.

Dyche, meanwhile, is already being linked with a return to the dugout at a relegation-threatened club. One thing’s for sure – wherever he lands next, he won’t be pulling any punches.
