According to Sky Sports, former Tottenham Hotspur superstar Teddy Sheringham has issued a glowing endorsement of Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze, amidst ongoing transfer speculation linking the England international with a move to North London.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Sheringham drew a bold comparison between Eze and one of the Premier League’s most iconic figures — Eric Cantona. “I think he can shine the way Eric Cantona did when he went to Man United all those years ago,” said Sheringham. “He could become the main man at Spurs, and that’s the type of player you want coming into your club.”
Eze, 25, has emerged as one of the most exciting attacking midfielders in English football, impressing fans and pundits alike with his flair, creativity, and ability to change games singlehandedly. His performances for Crystal Palace last season have not gone unnoticed, and Tottenham are reportedly among the frontrunners for his signature this summer.
