Celtic could face another charge from the game’s governing body just like they did after the League Cup final win against Rangers.
Celtic were told that they could face an SPFL probe after fans set off pyrotechnic devices inside Hampden at the showpiece final event against Rangers.
The SPFL said at the time that they, the Scottish FA and Police Scotland were all set to investigate the use of the ‘illegal and unsafe’ use of the devices.
And after what happened tonight at Dens Park, another charge could be coming to Celtic after what some of the travelling support did just before kick-off against Dundee.

Just before kick-off at Dens Park, some of the travelling Celtic support decided to let off pyro which caused a slight delay to the proceedings tonight.
illegal fireworks were sparked just minutes before kick-off as the away support tried to drum up the atmosphere at Dens Park.
With Celtic having faced many charges on the continent by UEFA for the use of pyro, the club’s board will not be happy at the conduct of some fans that could prove costly again in the form of a fine.
Celtic fans’ use of pyro
Celtic got a warning against Borussia Dortmund after the club were charged €20,000 and a suspended one-game ban from selling away tickets to UEFA competitions.
Brendan Rodgers pleaded with the Celtic support to stop using the devices but those pleas seem to have fallen on deaf ears.
Celtic fans also used pyro in 2023 in the League Cup semi-final against Kilmarnock but, in truth, despite the argument of the devices adding colour and making a great spectacle, they are banned and costing the club a hefty sum of cash in fines not only in Europe, but likely on the domestic scene as well.
