FAN FOOTAGE REVEALS WHAT DEAN HENDERSON DID AFTER CRYSTAL PALACE’S EQUALISER AGAINST NEWCASTLE

Selhurst Park was rocking after Crystal Palace snatched a point from the jaws of defeat against Newcastle on Saturday.
Somehow, the Eagles looked to be heading for a 1-0 defeat despite the fact Newcastle failed to register a single shot on target, with Marc Guehi putting into his own net after a cross from Anthony Gordon in the 53rd minute.

Fortunately, Daniel Munoz popped up to smash a brilliant header beyond Nick Pope in the 94th minute, prompting wild celebrations from Oliver Glasner and the Selhurst Park faithful.Dean Henderson also seemed to enjoy the moment – as the Crystal Palace No.1 could be seen making a gesture towards Newcastle supporters in fan footage.Dean Henderson rubs it in for Newcastle

As Crystal Palace and Newcastle players shook hands on the pitch after the final whistle, one supporter in the away end was filming, just so happening to catch the England international aiming a double fist pump in their direction.

As you can hear, Henderson irked the Newcastle fan filming the video, as he remarks: “Look at him, Henderson. Proper rubbing it in.”The £20m glovesman was jeered by Newcastle fans after horribly slicing a clearance during the second half, so perhaps that mockery got to him, and prompted his reaction at full-time.
Whatever the reason, there is no doubt Henderson is a passionate goalkeeper – as reinforced by his recent knee slide after Justin Devenny scored against Aston Villa.
Crystal Palace need to be more clinical

As much of a relief as it was to see Munoz equalise, Saturday’s game should never have reached the point where we almost lost 1-0.
Crystal Palace took 16 shots against Newcastle – getting four on target – while Newcastle, as aforesaid, failed to have a single shot on target, registering just one effort in total.
In truth, Glasner coached a 3-0 win, and only misses from the likes of Munoz, Maxence Lacroix and Ismaila Sarr prevented us from enjoying a much simpler afternoon.Fortunately, we secured a result to move us out of the relegation zone, although we really ought to start punishing opponents in the final third.
