Tottenham Hotspur are very interested in Evan Ferguson and are already laying the groundwork for a 2024 move.
Brighton and Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson is a wanted man with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur keen.
That is according to Sky Sports, who claim that Ferguson is a ‘strong candidate’ for both clubs.
Ferguson only signed a new contract with Brighton in April, tying his future to the club until 2028.
That hasn’t slowed down the interest though with United and Spurs now trying to secure his signature.
Brighton struck that new deal to protect Ferguson’s value and they believe that he can become worth £100million in the future.
Tottenham allegedly have Ferguson ‘front and centre’ for a move to North London if Harry Kane moves on.
Both clubs seemingly realise that Ferguson won’t be moving on this summer but appear to be asking about a 2024 deal in an attempt to win the race early.
Brighton are so good in the transfer market though and will be attempting to engineer a bidding war between the Premier League giants.
There is also the lurking shadow of Manchester City, who allegedly see Ferguson as a man to replace Erling Haaland if needed.

Ferguson has really burst onto the scene this season.
The Irishman has scored six goals in 17 Premier League games whilst also bagging two assists.
Ferguson is only 18 but but he is big, strong and dangerous in the box.
Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi has been hugely impressed with Ferguson, telling TalkSPORT that he is a ‘special striker’.
Tottenham fans are fearful about a future without Harry Kane and that’s understandable given his ridiculous output.
Ferguson may well be the next Kane though and Tottenham would love to win this race, potentially giving themselves a top striker for years to come.
Beating United – who want Kane themselves – won’t be easy but Spurs will hope that their early groundwork can stand them in good stead.
