American Hammers welcome West Ham United to Jacksonville
West Ham United hosted an open training session at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, on Friday as part of the Sunshine State Tour.
The American branch of the Claret and Army turned out in force to welcome the Hammers to the First Coast.
Supporters’ groups from all over the United States were present, with flags flying, as the fans cheered their heroes on during a rain-soaked session at the home of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Irons are in the city for the first of two Stateside Cup ties, taking on English Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers at EverBank Stadium ion Saturday 27 July at 7pm EDT. Tickets for the game are on sale now HERE.
West Ham will then return to Tampa for a number of exciting events climaxing with the Stateside Cup finale against Crystal Palace at Raymond James Stadium, home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, on Saturday 3 August at 7pm EDT. Tickets for this London derby with a difference are on sale now HERE.

West Ham and Wolves kick off their tours of the U.S. on Saturday night when they face off in Jacksonville, Fla.
Alongside Crystal Palace, the two sides will make up the 2024 Stateside Cup, a new preseason event.
The other two games of the tournament will see Wolves face Crystal Palace on Wednesday in Annapolis, Md., and West Ham take on Palace in Tampa, Fla. on August 3.
For West Ham, its U.S. tour will end after two games, while Wolves will close out their trip to the States with a match against RB Leipzig on August 3 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
