CRYSTAL PALACE LOOKING TO RECRUIT ANOTHER PLAYER SIMILAR TO EZE AS CONTRACT TALKS SLOW DOWN

Crystal Palace signed a close friend of Eberechi Eze during the summer in Eddie Nketiah.
Nketiah and Eze were seen to be very close in the video announcing the striker’s £25m move from Arsenal back in August, having known each other from their days at Hale End and playing football growing up in south London.

The pair are yet to click on the pitch – however – as Crystal Palace sit 18th in the Premier League with just five goals in seven outings so far.In fairness, Nketiah is strangely being deployed on the right by Oliver Glasner, so it has been difficult for the England international.Crystal Palace could sign Bright Osayi-Samuel

A story from Spor in Turkey now states that Crystal Palace are looking to sign Bright Osayi-Samuel.
The Turkish news outlet believe discussions over a new contract for the Nigeria international at Fenerbahce have hit a wall after Crystal Palace expressed interest.
Furthermore, Osayi-Samuel’s partner is said to be keen on leaving Turkey, so rival interest from Galatasaray is unlikely to be a problem for Freedman as the wing-back enters the final eight months of his contract with Jose Mourinho’s side.As aforesaid, the Fenerbahce No.21 knows Eze well, having made 66 appearances alongside each other for Queens Park Rangers before going their separate ways.
Eze even once said Osayi-Samuel is like a brother to him, so in terms of keeping the England international happy at least, this would be a wise move from Freedman.
Oliver Glasner needs Fenerbahce No.21 as Daniel Munoz cover

Interestingly, links to Osayi-Samuel come amid an injury to Daniel Munoz, our only natural right wing-back.
Glasner has deployed Ismaila Sarr – who AC Milan want – in that area at times this season, but with Nathaniel Clyne lacking the sharpness to play in that position at the age of 33, a new face is needed to compete with the Colombia international.
Therefore, links to Osayi-Samuel make perfect sense, especially as the 26-year-old has been a target for Freedman for many years now, just like Nketiah and Sarr were.
Hopefully, the Glaswegian can bring the man from Okija to Selhurst Park this winter.
