Lewis Orford may force his way into Julen Lopetegui’s thoughts at West Ham after scoring for England Under-19s.
It has been a slow start to the campaign for the Spaniard at the London Stadium which has seen him win just two Premier League games.
This has led to the former Real Madrid boss coming under fire from the Hammers faithful but a win against Ipswich Town has eased complaints for now.
Lopetegui could bring fans back on board by introducing the highly-rated Orford into his side after the international break after an excellent performance.

This points towards Orford being highly rated by club officials despite being yet to make his full first-team debut for the Irons.
This campaign has also been the start of a new journey for the 18-year-old on the international stage as he features for the England U19s.

The Hammers ace also grabbed a goal which will only do his reputation a world of good moving forward.
As a result of this showing, Lopetegui may sit up and take notice and look to feature Orford in his first-team squad more regularly moving forward.
