CRYSTAL PALACE FANS THINK THEY’RE DOOMED AT PREMIER LEAGUE AFTER SPOTTING THREE ‘WEAK LINKS’ IN LIVERPOOL DEFEAT

Crystal palace fans have been left concerned about the premier league 2024 hopes after identifying three ‘weak link’ areas Liverpool defeat
It has been a tough day for Oliver Glasner’s side in front of a packed, liver pool Wonder player Diogo jota scoring the opening goal on 9 minute
That proved to be the only goal of the game, with Arne slot’s side sealing a 1-0 win despite the absence of several key players
Palace themselves are without important players,at 17 minute which is caused by injury
After a goal from Palace striker Eddie Nketiah was ruled offside, Liverpool quickly established dominance in the match, leading to Jota opening the scoring with a slick goal in the ninth minute.
As soon as the ball hit the back of the net, Jota showed off a brand new goal celebration, and now Liverpool fans on social media think they may have figured out exactly what he was doing.
The 27-year-old forward is known to be a huge fan of popular football video game EA FC, and has been seen using celebrations referencing the game in the past.
And, following the release of the latest edition of EA FC last week, fans think that Jota’s celebration on Saturday was no different.
Posting on social media platform X, one fan wrote: “Jota did the Rodman fifa celebration”
While another agreed that Jota was using a celebration from EA FC, they argued that it was a different one.
The fan added: “Jota doing FC 25 ladder celebration. The guy loves FIFA.”
The Portuguese forward often speaks about EA FC, and even admitted to being addicted to the game after he had represented Portugal at an international tournament for the game.
In April last year, Jota showed off a Fifa goal celebration after scoring a late winner against Tottenham Hotspur, who just seconds earlier had equalised.
After scoring Liverpool’s fourth of the game in the 94th minute, he sat cross legged on the ground and mimicked using a controller to play a video game as a nod to his love of the EA FC.
However, some fans disagree that this is what he was doing on Saturday, instead suggesting that Jota was mimicking a celebration that comedian Bob Mortimer uses in his BBC series ‘Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing.’
Reacting to the celebration, one fan wrote: “Jota’s been watching Bob Mortimer’s Uno celebration from Gone Fishing!’
Another agreed, adding: “Jota doing the Bob Mortimer celebration!”
