Jamie Vardy was his usual self upon his return to the Premier League on Monday night.
Jamie Vardy capped off a vintage return to the Premier League with a goal and x-rated outburst aimed at Cristian Romero and Spurs supporters.
Vardy, now 37, was initially ruled out Leicester City’s first game of the season after struggling with injury.
He was absent for pre-season but told new boss Steve Cooper he was available a couple of days before the clash in a huge boost.
And he led the line superbly, scoring the equaliser and his 138th Premier League goal in the second half when he headed home from close range.
Fueled by his half-time Red Bull, the former England international put in an incredible shift and was replaced by Stephy Mavididi.
But not before being his usual pantomime villain self as he slowly walked off the pitch.
The former Fleetwood Town man was seen telling Romero to “F*** off” as he prepared to leave the field of play.
He also happily wound up the away fans, pointing out that they have never won the Premier League and reminding them that he fired the Foxes to the title in that fairytale 2015/16 campaign.

He’s regularly trolled Spurs and even did so at a festival last year when he said they “had no bottle”.
Vardy turned down an offer from Saudi Arabia to stay with Leicester in the Championship last year and helped them secure immediate promotion, hitting 18 goals in 35 appearances.
He netted twice in the title clincher against Preston North End and proceeded to sign a one-year extension at the King Power Stadium.

It was classic Vardy behaviour and immediately after Foxes picked up on what he said.
Vardy appeared to say, “F***ing hell, went flying!” to teammate Patson Daka before the two shared an embrace.
Vardy was also his usual self in the dressing room after the game and fans also suggested they heard his playful jibe to one of his colleagues.
During the celebrations as players danced to Fuse ODG’s ‘Azonto’, a video appeared to feature Vardy telling Wanya Marcal “You’ve done f*** all all season get up and dance”.
The Portuguese winger has made just three appearances in the Championship this term, hence Vardy’s comment.
Speaking after wrapping up the title, Vardy told Sky Sports: “The season has gone quickly but it’s a graft! Not many days off, I’ll tell you that for nothing! The lads have given it their all. As you’ve seen us play, that’s like it is in training. It’s full throttle.
