Milan finally seem set to conclude the deal with Tottenham Hotspur for Emerson Royal, but face competition from Manchester United for AS Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the incredibly long negotiations for Emerson Royal could be sealed as early as tonight or tomorrow morning.
There is less than €1m difference now between the offer and demand for the Brazilian right-back, which is around €15m plus a couple of add-ons.

However, the situation for Fofana is increasingly complicated and seems more difficult than ever to go through.
This is because Milan continue to maintain they will not pay more than €20m including bonuses for a player whose contract is set to expire in June 2025.
