Spurs fell to a 2-1 defeat to the Bundesliga giants in South Korea thanks to goals from Gabriel Vidovic and Leon Goretska.

Ange Postecoglou’s side suffered in a poor first half and were lucky to go in at the break only one goal down.

The opening goal came after just four minutes after the Italian international gave the ball away, leaving Djed Spence in no man’s land.

Although this is frustrating to see, this is a typical error of Postecoglou’s tactical approach and on another day it may pay off

What wasn’t good enough was Vicario’s initial save which pushed the ball back into the danger area and into Vidovic’s path to score.

This was a difficult save but the 27-year-old ultimately put himself into the situation to make the save early on.

Later on in the first half, Mathys Tel forced the goalkeeper into another save and yet again he pushed it into the centre of the box

On this occasion, the Bundesliga side couldn’t make the chance count but it was another error which could have resulted badly

The Italian made a similar save in the second half with the ball bouncing up off him and back to Goretska to score their second.

On three separate occasions in the game, the Spurs number one made errors which cost them two goals, resulting in them losing 2-1.

This isn’t the end of the world in a friendly but if he continues to do this in the Premier League, Tottenham will have problems.
