Tottenham’s squad is slowly starting to take shape ahead of the start of the 2024/25 season. A very quiet transfer window for Premier League clubs so far this summer, Spurs have added Archie Gray Lucas Bergvall and Timo Werner to Ange Postecoglou squad and the hope is that a few more arrivals will follow over the next few weeks.

Goalkeepers: Guglielmo Vicario, Fraser Forster, Brandon Austin, Alfie Whiteman, Josh Keeley.
Tottenham are well stocked between the sticks ahead of the new season. Guglielmo vicario is undoubtedly the club’s first-choice goalkeeper, with Fraser Forster, Brandon Austin and Alfie Whiteman all providing cover for the Italian.
Josh Keeley enjoyed a very good loan spell with National League side Barnet last season and another loan move could well come to fruition before the end of the transfer window. The English Football League looks to be the next step for the goalkeeper as he looks to add to his experience.
Full-backs: Pedro Porro, Emerson Royal, Djed Spence, Destiny Udogie, Ben Davies, Sergio Reguilon.
We could well see a bit of movement at full-back over the next few weeks as Tottenham get their squad ready for the new season. AC Milan are keen on luring Emerson Royal to the San Siro but the Italian giants have yet to submit a bid that Tottenham deem acceptable.
Milan formally offered just £8.4million (€10million) for the Brazilian, having already had that number turned down in a verbal offer. Spurs want at least £16.8million (€20million) for their right-back.
There could even still be a chance for Djed Spence to resurrect his Spurs career after previously looking a certainty to move on this summer. The ex-Nottingham Forest loanee has received minutes in Spurs’ first two friendlies and caught the eye in the process, thus now leaving a big question mark over what comes next for the player.
The writing does appear to be on the wall for Sergio Reguilon, however, as he has not appeared in the Spurs matchday squad in pre-season so far despite training with the first team at Hotspur Way. After two loan spells away from the club last term, a permanent move looks likely if interested parties submit an offer to Tottenham.
Centre-backs: Cristian Romero, Radu Dragusin, Micky van de Ven, Ashley Phillips.
Tottenham have had a real lack of centre-backs in the matchday squad in their first two friendlies with Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Radu Dragusin away on their summer break. Ashley Phillips has been present but Postecoglou has yet to start him in a pre-season game as he has instead opted for Gray and Oliver Skipp at the heart of defence.
Tottenham could get away with the quartet as their centre-back options for the new season but the club may look to send Phillips out on loan again after a successful spell with Plymouth in the second half of last term. If that is indeed the case, Postecoglou will need an addition at center-back before the summer transfer deadline.
Ben Davies can also provide cover at centre-back if needed across the campaign.
