James Maddison makes major Tottenham decision after brutal England snub

Tottenham star James Maddison is putting his England snub behind him ahead of the start of the new Premier League season.
Maddison as left out of Gareth Southgate’s final 23-man squad for Euro 2024 after a mediocre season with his club.
The in-form Anthony Gordon and Cole Palmer were chosen ahead of him, and whilst he will have been disappointed to miss out, it has allowed him to focus on preparing for the new campaign with City.
Videos shared on social media have shown the 28-year-old already training despite pre-season yet to begin.

As reported by The Mirror,Maddison has told spur that he will be back training at the club several days before the return date set by manager ange postecoglou

Several injuries last season hampered Maddison chances of being picked with ange postecoglou often preferring to play Kulusevski on the left wing instead.
Spur embark on their pre-season tour next month and it will be a great chance for the Englishman to impress ahead of their first competitive game
The willingness to put in the extra work shows that he isn’t sulking following Southgate’s decision.
It would be a surprise if Maddison wasn’t to work his way back into the international setup at some point, but for now his focus is getting back onto the pitch for his club.
The Three Lions haven’t got off to the best start at Euro 2024 with a nervy victory over Serbia followed by a 1-1 draw with Denmark.
Many fans believe James Maddison should have been taken and would solve some of England’s current problems if he was in the squad.
He’s still Tottenham record signing having joined for £55M back in 2023,and will at least play a key part in any future success they have.
