Son Heung-min breaks Tottenham’s dressing room silence after Ange Postecoglou’s savage rant about the club

Son Heung-min broke the silence of the Tottenham team after Ange Postecoglou’s angry speech
Spurs coach Postecoglou was furious after his side were beaten 2-0 by Manchester City on Tuesday, ending their slim hopes of reaching the top four and qualifying for next season’s Champions League

The result means Man City will leapfrog north London rivals Arsenal to the Premier League title if they beat West Ham at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday
Some Spurs fans felt conflicted about the match, as they knew victory would put Arsenal close to their first title since 2004
Some celebrated when Man City’s Erling Haaland scored and was kicked out of the stadium, while Postecolgou launched into an insulting tirade
with another fan asking him to lose the game
After the match, the Australian coach said that preparations for the match had shown him that his club’s foundation was “more fragile” than he thought
Tottenham’s stars have remained silent on the issue but captain Son Heung-min has spoken out in an exclusive interview with the Evening Standard
We have to understand that this is the first year as coach and he has brought a lot of positivity and different football,” Son said
“I know it’s too early to say this, but we need to do much better for next season, because I still believe he can bring a lot of success to the club
“I absolutely full support
I like the way he wants to play
This is my first time experiencing it
“Everyone – the club, the players, as well as the fans – everyone has to come together, because we all have to be in this game together
He certainly showed that I can bring success to the club
” Spurs will want to represent a united front on Sunday, as a draw or win against Sheffield United would secure fifth place and guarantee a place in the 2024-25 Europa League
