Some Spurs fans weren’t too disappointed with the loss as it affected their fierce rivals’ title chances, but Postecoglou was clearly unimpressed with that sentiment after the game
In his post-match interview, the Australian said: “The foundation is really fragile

“They [the fans] have the right to express themselves the way they want
But yes, when we have late winners in matches, it’s because the crowd has helped us
“I just want to win
so I don’t care what other people want to feel or what their priorities are
” It is now claimed that Postecoglou privately became angry after a joke from one of his aides
According to Jack Pitt-Brooke of The Athletic, a handful of staff joked about the match – and Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League title – during the build-up
However, a support staff member is said to have made Postecoglou “angry” after joking with him that he should play with the youth team against Man City
The joke is said to have “triggered” the manager, as “the idea of being happy about losing a match shocked him” – and it certainly played a role in the post-match interview his fight
