Fans response to Commentator who was laughing at Tottenham goal scorer who left stadium with sticky blood

Tottenham Hotspur couldn’t capitalise on an early lead at West Ham United as they only managed a 1-1 draw in East London on Tuesday night.

Tottenham were looking for a second victory in a matter of days having beaten Luton Town 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Spurs fell behind early on in that one but flipped that script at West Ham.

Brennan Johnson opened the scoring for Tottenham, tapping home from a Timo Werner cross inside five minutes.

That should have been the springboard for Tottenham to really hammer home their dominance but it didn’t happen.
Kurt Zouma levelled it up for West Ham, heading home from close range as Guglielmo Vicario was left in no-man’s land from a corner.Tottenham dominated possession but just couldn’t find a winner, settling for a point after a frustrating second-half performance at the London Stadium.

Tottenham Hotspur star comments on injury

Goalscorer Johnson looked like Tottenham’s most dangerous player on the night.

The Welshman opened the scoring with some superb movement inside the box and was always looking to drive at the West Ham back line.

Johnson was eventually substituted and was then on media duty with TNT Sports straight after the final whistle.

Johnson appeared on camera with his left knee strapped up, leaving host Lynsey Hipgrave to ask about a potential injury.

“That’s a very big bandage, should anyone be worried?” said Hipgrave, before Johnson confirmed that he had been kicked in the knee in the second half.

Johnson felt his knee stiffen up but he believes there is no lasting damage, stating that his injury appears to be ‘all good’.

“I think it’s all good,” said Johnson. “Just from a corner, I’m not sure who it was, I got a kick in my knee and it kind of stiffened up a bit but it’s fine,” he added.

Brennan Johnson taking his chance

Johnson had a somewhat slow start to life at Tottenham and fans were expecting more after arriving in a big-money move from Nottingham Forest.

The 22-year-old managed one goal and three assists in his first 13 games for Tottenham, leaving some to wonder whether he was of the required standard.

Johnson has certainly calmed those fears now having hit a stunning run of form in recent weeks.

Now with four goals and three assists in his last nine games, Johnson is making ah huge impact in the Tottenham attack.

Johnson’s pace and direct running is perfect for Ange Postecoglou’s style of play but his improvement off the ball and attacking crosses has made him so dangerous.

Hopefully that knee injury isn’t too bad, as Johnson won’t want anything to halt his momentum right now as he emerges as a go-to man under Postecoglou.

Tottenham Hotspur had the opportunity to make their way back into the top four of the Premier League but they failed to come out on top against West Ham United away from home.

Brennan Johnson who scored for Spurs in the 1-1 draw picked up a knock late in the game and he has provided an injury update.

The 22-year-old Welsh winger who arrived at the club last summer from Nottingham Forest has had a great first season. In his 27 Premier League outings for Tottenham, Johnson has 12 goal contributions despite not being a regular starter.
In the game against the Hammers, the Welsh international found the back of the net in the third minute of the game. He managed to convert a low cross by Timo Werner. While the goal gave Spurs the lead, West Ham levelled things up in the 19th minute. Despite multiple attempts, the North London club couldn’t score again and the match ended in a draw.

Brennan Johnson shares injury update

The 22-year-old picked up a knock late in the game and he was then replaced by Giovani Lo Celso in the 90th minute. He went straight down the tunnel after getting subbed, raising concerns among the Spurs fans.

However, the player has provided an update that the knock was nothing serious and he is fit to continue.
Johnson has dismissed any concerns by providing an update on the injury blow. He is an important player for Spurs and they will need him in the final phase of the season. The update will come as a major boost for the club and the Tottenham fans will hope he can continue his great run of form.
