My spirit was there with Tottenham against crystal palace,Harry Kane can’t still forget old home as he revealed the player who impressed him most yesterday

Tottenham fought back from behind against Crystal Palace to win 3-1 and continue their push for a Champions League spot.

Harry Kane left blowned by one Tottenham player after scoring amazing goal

he’s a true pure leader…

Ange Postecoglou’s side had to once again show their mental strength to win the game after Ebere Eze had fired Palace ahead with a stunning free-kick.

In the end, it was easy enough for Spurs who had Timo Werner, Cristian Romero and Heung-Min Son all get on the scoresheet to complete the comeback win.

Of course, while goals are expected of Son and Werner, big defender Romero doesn’t quite get his name on the sheet as much.

But after scoring yesterday and putting in another fine performance, his Tottenham teammates were quick to praise him. After Romero had taken to Instagram to celebrate the win, the likes of James Maddison, Manor Solomon and Pedro Porro were all down in the comments loving the defender.

Indeed, Porro even posted in Spanish to call Romero the best centre-back in the world. Quite the statement from the right-back!

Romero is now a true leader at Tottenham

Ange Postecoglou spoke after the game about the goals coming from the leaders within the Tottenham team and it’s safe to say Romero is one of those.

He really is the main man for Tottenham at times and his header to nudge them ahead today came at the perfect time after Werner had equalised.

Romero has got a nice habit of popping up with the odd goal for Spurs and he’s become such an integral part of the team it’s hard to imagine Spurs without him now.

Alongside Micky van de Ven, Tottenham really do have one of the best defensive pairings in the league right now.

And if they do make that top four spot they crave, then that defensive partnership will have been just as vital as anything else.
