HARRY KANE COULD MAKE SHOCK RETURN TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE AS BAYERN MUNICH SITUATION EMERGES

Chelsea are reportedly planning a shock move for Harry Kane after hearing some information about his current situation at Bayern Munich.

Kane made an £82 million switch to Bayernin the summer, ending his long stint at Spurs, whom he left as record goalscorer.

The England captain has banged in 28 goals in 29 games for the Bavarians but there is now a chance that he finishes the season trophyless.

Bayern were dumped out of the DFB Pokal by third division side Saarbrucken in November and it looks as though their incredible run of 11 Bundesliga titles in a row could come to an end.

Thomas Tuchel’s side were battered 3-0 by Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen last week and they are now eight points clear ahead of Bayern’s next game.

Bayern lost the Champions League round of 16 first leg to Lazio in midweek, with Kane handed a humiliating match rating by German newspaper BILD.

And Wayne Veysey of Football Insider claims that Chelsea are monitoring developments.

A report states that Chelsea are “hearing whispers” that Kane isn’t too happy at the Allianz Arena.

Although Kane has only been in Munich a matter of months, it’s said that Chelsea are hopeful he is keen on a swift return to the Premier League.

Kane worked with Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs and took his game to new heights.

It’s said Chelsea would be more than happy to pay a similar fee to what Bayern paid to lure him away from Spurs and see him as a guaranteed goalscorer who can make the difference in an extremely young side.

Despite recently struggles, Kane is not carried away and believes Bayern have it in them to turn things around.

“We have to find it among ourselves,” he told TNT Sports.

“We’re still in the race for the Bundesliga and still in this tie. We have to keep fighting.
“We’re in a difficult spell. We have to fight. We have to turn it around. We have big games and big things to fight for. We’re not out of it, we will never give up. “We just need to turn it around. One game or spark can turn it around.”
