‘They Didn’t Care How I was Feeling’,Destiny udogie Slams Tottenham In New Documentary

Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Destiny Udogie will miss Saturday’s Premier League meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Spurs boss gave the latest team fitness news at his pre-match press conference and revealed that three players have found themselves on the sidelines.

Udogie is not expected to be out for long, while Pedro Porro could be missing for a few weeks. Fraser Forster is sadly set for a long-term stint on the sidelines.

“We’ve had a couple of setbacks this week,” football.london quote Postecoglou as saying ahead of Spurs hosting Wolves in Saturday’s 3pm kickoff.

“Destiny obviously picked up a little bit of a knock last week. Not available for tomorrow, don’t think it is anything too serious. With no game next weekend, he should be back.

“Pedro picked up a strain at training. Again, probably a couple of weeks for him. With the game break hopefully he doesn’t miss too many.

“Probably the major one for us is Fraser Forster – got a knock in training, got a fracture in his foot. He’ll probably miss conservatively a couple of months.

“They are the main three. Coming back, nothing from last week. Everyone is available.”

Tottenham dealt triple injury blow ahead of Wolves clash

Tottenham have had to put up with quite a few instances of key players being out this season, so it’s not good to hear Postecoglou confirm three big absences.

Both Udogie and Porro have been mainstays for Spurs this season, while Forster’s injury deprives the team of a veteran stand-in keeper.

Udogie has been the “big stand-out” player for Tottenham this term, according to Jamie Carragher.

He has been a revelation in his maiden season, making 21 league outings and registering three goal contributions.

Meanwhile, Porro has started every game since being an unused substitute in the league opener, and leads the club’s assist charts with seven in the league.

There’s a good chance we’ll see Ben Davies and Emerson Royal come into the starting XI against Wolves.
