DONE DEAL imminent- Tottenham have Officially submitted £30M bid for star Midfielder, Joy for Spurs fans

Three days ago, Fla Web in Brazil explained that Tottenham Hotspur have signalled they’ll make an offer soon to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers’ João Gomes in the winter market.

It was also stated Gary O’Neil’s side need at least €35m to sanction his sale.

The midfielder has been a regular for Wolves since he arrived at Molineux from Flamengo last January.

Another Brazilian outlet, Gávea News, now states the 22-year-old is attracting firm interest from other Premier League sides, ‘especially Tottenham’.
It’s further claimed the north London club are ‘preparing a substantial proposal’ to take him away from Wolves. The Brazilian’s contract lasts until 2028 and the report adds Tottenham’s offer could be worth around £30m.

Spurs have already strengthened their attack and defence this month and now seem to be focusing on midfield. This is where the South American fits in and Gávea News’ title says he ‘will be sold’, but that isn’t backed up within the report.

In the event Tottenham make an offer and Wolves agree to sell Gomes, the website states Flamengo will be entitled to receive 10% of the fee.

Gomes has made 20 appearances in all competitions for Wolves this season. Last week the potential fee was put at €35m, which didn’t seem enough for such an important and promising player.

Quite obviously, €30m would fit in the same bracket.
