Jamie Carragher and Davie Jones predicted the scoreline and the winner as Everton make the trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday 23 December.
On the hunt for a fifth successive Premier League victory, Everton travel to North London to meet Ange Postecoglou’s resurgent team flying high with two consecutive wins after a recent dip in form.
Sean Dyche’s men enter the clash off some good league form as well with four wins from four but underwent a disappointing EFL Cup quarter-final penalty shoot-out exit to Fulham on Tuesday (19 December).
And Liverpool legend Carragher has predicted a 1-1 draw between the two sides for Super Six. However, Sky Sports presenter and host Dave Jones disagreed tipping Postecoglou’s men to grab all three points writing:
“”I expect Everton’s good run to come to an end away to an excellent Tottenham side.”
Everton are certainly riding high in the Premier League after four straight wins and clean sheets to boot but come up against a whole different proposition in Spurs who have made their turf under Postecoglou an intimidating fortress.
The Toffees enter this contest off the back of a disappointing performance and result against Fulham in the EFL Cup on Tuesday, a game they should really have put to bed even before the Cottagers scored the opener.
