Sky Sports claim 22-year-old Tottenham player is not in first-team training today

Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou has been putting his players through their paces ahead of their final Premier League game before Christmas.

On Tuesday, Sky Sports News were covering a Spurstraining session, and there were good news and bad news for Tottenham fans ahead of Saturday’s meeting with Everton.

In terms of good news, Tottenham forward Brennan Johnson was amongst the players taking part in training at Hotspur Way.

However, Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven was nowhere to be seen, suggesting he’s still some way from returning to action.

The 22-year-old picked up a hamstring injury in the defeat to Chelsea and is not expected to play again until the New Year.
