One thing is getting me crazy… Cristian Romero react to the News coming out of Tottenham attacker who reveals one thing that’s getting him crazy that no one is talking about

Brennan Johnson has revealed that the one thing that angers Ange Postecoglou is if the players do not show bravery and try to play their football.

Postecoglou has generally refrained from criticising his players publicly and has taken responsibility for some of Tottneham’s poor results over recent weeks.

However, following the loss against West Ham, the Australian showed the first signs of being annoyed with the squad as he looked visibly angered in his post-match interviews.

The 58-year-old rejected the idea that Tottenham’s performance was good, insisting that the players simply did not show enough conviction in attack against the Hammers (Football.London).

Postecoglou demands that Spurs show bravery

Johnson has now said that the one thing that the Aussie coach cannot stand is if the players do not show bravery and take the game to the opposition.

The former Nottingham Forest star pointed to the passive first-half performance against Manchester City as the kind of thing that Postecoglou gets quite angered by.

Speaking ahead of the clash against West Ham, Johnson told Spurs Play: “That’s what gets him most annoyed, to be honest. When we don’t believe in ourselves and we don’t play the football we can play.

“We came out in the second half and Man City are an unbelievable team, they are unbelievable at pressing but we got them running more because in the first half, they were comfortable and we were playing on our own time.

“But once we got them running more and pressing and we were getting through and creating chances, it’s what we do in training. There’s no point in coming away from it, because whatever we come away from it doing is something we don’t practice so we are not going to be as good at.”

Spurs Web Opinion

One does feel for Postecoglou as he does not really have the options to change things up at the moment due to the injuries that Tottenham are currently dealing with.
