Tottenham Hotspur are ready to sell Joe Rodon, who is currently having a fantastic time on loan at Leeds United in the Championship.
Spurs have a lot of decisions to make ahead of 2024. The January transfer window will be their priority, but we’ll be surprised if they haven’t already started planning for next summer. Rodon’s long-term Tottenhamfuture is expected to be decided in one of the next two windows.
Tottenham are ready to sell Joe Rodon for £20m
Tottenham Hotspur signed Joe Rodon from Championship side Swansea City in October 2020, when Jose Mourinho was still at the club.
The Welshman came in with a lot of hype, but for one reason or another, things just haven’t worked out for him at Spurs. He has played just 24 times for the North Londoners during his time there.
Rodon was sent out on a season-long loan to Leeds United in the summer, and his fortunes have changed. He has been really good recently and there’s every chance he could help the Whites achieve promotion back to the Premier League.
The question then would be what will happen to Rodon. The 26-year-old’s loan spell expires in the summer, and if Leeds do come back up, they would likely want to sign him on a permanent deal.
TeamTalk have shared the latest on the situation now, and they have revealed that Tottenham are not at all against the idea of selling Rodon in 2024.
However, Spurs want a fee in the region of £20 million to let him go.
