Very wrong!! Gareth South Gate send warning message to Daniel Levy over the “brilliant”he’s planning to take out of the squad

I don’t want Daniel levy to take out Eric dier from squad

He has contribute more to the team-South Gate say

Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier is having a very interesting time at the club. From featuring regularly last season to absolutely not featuring this campaign, things have taken a huge downward slump.

That said, since the injury to Micky van de Ven and the suspension of Cristian Romero, Dier has featured for Tottenham in the previous two games. With the former sidelined for the foreseeable period, it is up to Dier to fill that position.

Eric Dier is a leader in the dressing room. He brings a lot to the table with his abilities off the field. On the field as a central defender though, he does have his limitations. His nature of wearing his heart on his sleeve cannot be undermined though.

The English defender will want to succeed at Tottenham. If he keeps getting regular game time, he might choose to stay here. However, Van de Ven will return once his injury heals and Dier might be consigned to the bench yet again.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy wants to sell the English defender in January irrespective of the situation. It will help bring another talented centre-back who could potentially be better than Dier. This is according to the Mirror.

When Dier first came to Tottenham, he was a central midfielder or a defensive midfielder. The current version we see of Dier as a central defender is largely down to how Jose Mourinho transformed him.

Eric Dier to leave Tottenham?

Ideally, keeping someone like Dier in the squad will be an ideal situation for Tottenham. That said, he is someone who would like to play regularly and we are not very sure Ange Postecoglou will be able to guarantee that.

The English defender has interest from clubs and he can be a key player for many other teams. His ability on the ball is something that many coaches would appreciate. Let’s see what the future holds for him.
