Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling could pose a real threat to Tottenham with his pace when the teams meet on Monday night.
That is according to Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson.
Chelsea make the short trip across London on Monday to play away at Spurs in the Premier League.
The Blues are into the Carabao Cup quarter-finals after their midweek win over Blackburn Rovers, but the league form still needs addressing. Mauricio Pochettino’s side are 11th in the league standings right now.
In contrast, Spurs are currently top of the league table and playing some very expansive football under Ange Postecoglou.

Speaking via Sportskeeda this week, Paul Merson has already predicted Chelsea to record a surprise 2-1 away win at Spurs.
He’s now identified Raheem Sterling, 28, as a potential key player for the Blues because of his speed.
The £50million attacker (Daily Mail) has the pace and directness that may try to exploit a high Spurs backline.
Merson told Sky Sports: “Then you’ve got Raheem Sterling on the wing. He was brilliant against Arsenal and if he can reach that level again, he’ll cause Spurs problems on the break.”

Sterling’s certainly got a decent individual record against Spurs, scoring eight goals and making five assists in 23 career appearances against them.
Hopefully, the Chelsea attacker can be at his best on Monday on the trip to north London.
His midweek goal in the cup takes him up to four goals in 12 games across all competitions so far this season.
There’s no doubt that this Blues squad needs to him to smash double figures in the goal department this year because there’s a lack of goals when you look around the dressing room.
If Chelsea plan to get in behind the Spurs defence, they’ve definitely got the individual to exploit the space.
The likes of Sterling, Nicolas Jackson, Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke are all speed demons in the final third. It’ll be interesting to see the starting line-up that Pochettino goes with.
