Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has thanked his fans for their support during these past ten days.
The Tottenham captain stated on Instagramthat he is ‘returning’ to London after spending a ‘happy’ October with South Korea.
Managed by club legend Jurgen Klinsmann, it was an international break that came with an injury scare for the 31-year-old.
After featuring during South Korea’s win over Vietnam, Son Heung-min shared that he wasn’t able to train properly.
Even though it was an easy and comprehensive 6-0 win, Tottenham’s lightning forward still completed the match and was seen limping afterwards to the frustration of his club fans.
Well, judging by the £190k-a-week star’s (Spotrac) post overnight, there doesn’t seem to be any further issues with an injury because he didn’t mention it when talking about returning to Hotspur Way.
Son Heung-min’s message to fans
“I’m returning to London after spending a happy day thanks to the fans in this October match,” wrote Son.
“Thank you so much for receiving this honour and love. I will return to the team I belong to again and greet you at the stadium in a cheerful and strong form.
“Thank you very much to all the fans who came to the stadium late in the weather and also to all the fans who watched on TV. I will not forget this support and love.
“I’ll do my best to give you as much pleasure as I received. I love you.”
Tottenham are top of the league
Spurs fans might have to pinch themselves because it has been their best start to a season since 1960, as they sit top of the Premier League table after eight games.
Son has played a key part in the team deserving to be top and playing a style of football that has got fans off their seats.
It’s not just the points that Postecoglou’s side are putting on the board, but the manner in which they are doing it all.
