“Strong hidden conversation”with spur manager and Yves Bissouma after the player action

Bobby Zamora thinks Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou is going to have a ‘strong conversation’ with Yves Bissouma.

Tottenham are on the highest of highs. Not many would have thought it, but after eight games, they are sitting top of the Premier League table.
On Saturday, they recorded a 1-0 at Luton Town, with Yves Bissouma getting sent off in the first half.

The 27-year-old’s second yellow card was for diving and former Premier League striker Zamora thinks that Ange Postecoglou will sit him down and talk to him about that incident, as he told Stadium Astro.

Given that Spurs were playing a struggling newly-promoted side, then they weren’t punished for Yves Bissouma’s actions.

But as Zamora pointed out, they can’t afford to repeat that against a better side, or they will get ripped apart.

Yves Bissouma’s dive

“There is a part of that mentality, in terms of what has happened on the pitch with a player getting sent off, one of those for diving,” said Zamora.

“It’s something that he (Postecoglou) will have to have a strong conversation about. They have got away with it, in the fact that it’s Luton. – another team they would have got punished and it could have cost them dearly.”

Yves Bissouma’s change in form

One of the stories of the season for Spurs has been the change in form of Bissouma compared to the last campaign.

Even though Antonio Conte was the one who brought him in from Brighton, he struggled and couldn’t showcase the form he produced under Graham Potter.

But that’s now changing on its head because he is a different animal under Postecoglou despite that minor blip against Luton.
