Tottenham will be without Ivan Perisic for some time after confirmation of the 34-year-old’s ACL injury in his right knee. The club confirmed the blow on Wednesday ahead of this weekend’s North London Derby against Arsenal.
The Croatian picked up a complex anterior cruciate ligament injury in training and will require surgery. It’s expected that the experienced winger will miss the majority of the remainder of the season having already played each of the five league games under Ange Postecoglou.
A club statement read: “We can confirm that Ivan Perisic has suffered a complex Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury in his right knee.
