Walker to Bayern Deal Seems imminent with latest Stunning behind the scene Report on Thomas Tuchel’s contact

Kyle Walker has reportedly been convinced by Thomas Tuchel to join Bayern Munich from Manchester City this summer.

Since winning the treble with the Citizens at the end of his sixth season with them, the Englishman has been linked with a move to Bayern during the current transfer window.

Now, some extra behind-the-scenes information has come to light regarding the situation surrounding the full-back at the moment.

According to a recent report from SportBILD (via Sport Witness), Tuchel has been in contact with Walker and has convinced the defender that he is ready to make a move away from the Etihad Stadium and start a new chapter in the Bundesliga.

The report also adds that City are keen to keep hold of the England international, who has previously been described as a “phenomenal” player by Jose Mourinho, this summer, despite Tuchel’s attempts to lure him to Bayern.

In fact, a recent report from The Telegraph has claimed that the Manchester club are willing to offer the 33-year-old a two-year deal to keep him in Pep Guardiola’s side, where his current contract is set to expire next summer.

Last season saw the right-back prove how vital he can be for the team in the big occasions, as his performance playing up against Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior in the Champions League semi-final second-leg game earned Walker some significant praise.

In our view, if Walker’s future is still in the balance, we feel City should do all they can to get their defender to stay where he is and help them regain the treble next season.
