Confusion- Fans and Levy left in shock as reliable source confirms Spurs star is begging to leave”

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy will ensure star striker Harry Kane stays at the club according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

Harry Kane’s uncertain future at the club remains one of the talk of the summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old has one year left in his current Spurs contract and there have been no suggestions of a contract extension.

The England striker has enjoyed an illustrious career so far but the only thing absent from it is silverware.

Kane who is not getting any younger has yet to win a trophy in his career which is one of the reasons why he would make a move.

He has been strongly linked with Manchester United over the last few months with reports claiming that Erik ten Hag is very keen on signing him.

However, as per latest reports, Daniel Levy’s asking price for the player is too much for the Red Devils, who are unwilling to meet his demands.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also keen on securing the services of the striker.

But Ben Jacobs believes Levy will do everything in his power to keep Kane at the club this summer unless the player tries to force a move away.

He adds that for now there have been no indications of the player looking to force an exit.

Jacobs told GiveMeSport: “The feeling still remains, as it really has for the last six months or so, that Daniel Levy will do everything possible in his power to keep Harry Kane at the football club.
The only significant factor that will change that, beyond some insane, astronomical offer, is obviously Kane almost begging Tottenham to leave, if that’s what he chooses to do and force an exit. There’s no indication of that at this point, which is why Spurs are calm about the situation.”
Kane himself might prefer to stay in the Premier League for now as he reportedly has eyes on Alan Shearer’s Premier League record.

This could increase the chances of Tottenham keeping him for at least another year if Manchester United don’t make a move for him.
