West Ham want to sign ‘incredible’ striker who’s scored PL Hattrick against them

West Ham United have identified Leeds United forward Jack Harrison as one of their top targets for the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.

Despite the Whites’ dreadful position in the relegation places, with a game left to play, the former Manchester City man dubbed “incredible” by his former manager Jesse Marsch has enjoyed an eventful campaign, scoring four goals and seven assists from 35 games.
With Leeds United facing the threat of relegation, they are resigned to losing some of their key stars and Harrison who once bagged a hattrick against the Hammers in January 2022 has emerged as a transfer target.
And according to The Sun [24 May], West Ham United have identified both Harrison and Barnes as top summer targets ahead of a busy transfer refresh for next season.

“West Ham have identified Leeds midfielder Jack Harrison and Leicester’s Harvey Barnes as summer transfer targets.

“Harrison, 26, has four goals and seven assists for Leeds, who face Tottenham on the final day having lost 3-1 to West Ham on Sunday.

The Hammers are looking to add players ready to hit the ground running in the Premier League this summer after a season where a number of arrivals from abroad have taken too long to settle”, the report reveals.

No brainer

Given the mixed success of their previous signings in recent years, West Ham United are certainly right to target Premier League players for their potential rebuild and Harrison seems an amazing proposition.

Certainly, the Whites have long flirted with the Premier League drop all campaign long, but Harrison has – as expected – once again emerged as one of the club’s best players in an otherwise difficult campaign.
Four goals and seven assists in a relegation candidate are decent going, and if the 26-year-old is associated with much better players around him, he could certainly take those goal contributions to another level.

West Ham United is the perfect platform for him, especially with the Hammers in desperate need of some attacking reinforcements. Harrison provides speed, invention, creativity, versatility and aggressiveness that has been missing from their attack for a long while.

This is a no-brainer addition.
